Up for auction is a nice used 1983 GMC Caballero pickup. This truck is GMC's version of the Chevrolet El Camino. This truck is equipped with a Chevrolet 5.0 liter (305 cubic inch) V-8 engine and GM Turbo Hydramatic 3 speed automatic transmission. An aftermarket Summit performance camshaft has been installed in the engine. The specs on the cam are: Model SUM-1102, advertised duration 262/272, lift .420/.442. The odometer reads 84,591 miles, but I am not sure if the mileage is in excess or not.. The truck runs and drives very well. The tires are in fairly good shape with some decent tread left on them. The body is very solid for the vehicle's age. There is some rust in the lower body, but overall still very solid. The interior is in fairly good condition, but could use cleaning. The headliner is in perfect condition. The truck was originally equipped with air conditioning, but most of the A/C components have been removed. This truck would be an excellent project to resore or just use as a daily driver. I have a clear title for this truck. The truck is located in Remington, Indiana.
