It was his Brother in-laws pride personal project. He passed away years ago from Cancer. It has been sitting since 2005. He was about 85% done before he passed. All the work as done at Kubis Auto body in Westmont,IL. The car was going to be a Custom Show Truck. They completely went all out on it. The frame and body were brought down to bare metal. The body was done on a rotisserie. The bed floor is all new. I think the fenders are new. The frame was blasted and fully finished in Mercedes Blue. Same with the complete underbody. The firewall was smoothed and show finished. The rear end was customized with frenched 30s tail lights. The original tail lights and bed welded up and the rear finished. Rack and pinion steering installed. All the body work was done perfect. All the body panels were finished perfect. (it now has a few small dings and scratches from sitting so long at the body shop) The work was done really well! They shaved the door handles and installed 40lbs remote door poppers. (remote or push button inside) They started a custom dash but didnt finish it. With New TPI 6pc gauge set. The car has a custom under dash flip panel for the new wiring harness and panel. It has the Big Block steel hood. They tell me the motor is a low mile rebuilt 350 engine th400 trans that he had in his 64 Chevelle. He said it a mild street built 350. (block #s 3970010-back V1018CKD-front) Trans has a deep pan. Looks like it has an 11" converter. He has a B&M shifter in it. Nice 15x8 Torque Thrust II wheels and BFG radial tires. (275/60 rear 235/60 front) 12 bolt rear end. The dash pad is either new or a really good used one. It comes with a set of 70s camaro Buckets. Lots of original parts and lots of new parts. A big stack of Receipts. Just tons of stuff and extra stuff. LOOK AT PICS. I know it is missing the front and rear glass, radiator, and driveshaft. It will need the wiring finished. The panel is installed and the wiring ran. Just needs to be hooked up. The front end is just mocked up good enough for towing. It will need the little dings and scratches touched up. Bumpers re-chromed. all the interior installed. there is some over spray on the front fenders. (from the same stuff on the rear) Maybe they were on the ground when the rear sprayed. The car paint finished. It come just as seen in pics. (i just took the pics today 12/30/2012) Any questions just ask. I will need a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction end.
