Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an 1967 International Harvester 1200B Pickup Truck. Here is what I know about the truck: - Odometer reads 8920, but mileage is 108920. - 8 1/2 foot bed - 4x4 - 4 speed transmission with granny gear first (Borg Warner T-19 close ratio) - 2 speed transfer case with 2H, 4H, N 4L (New Process 202) - Dana 60 rear axle with an International harvester Trac-Loc (Limited Slip, 4.10:1 gearing) - Dana 44HD front axle (open) with closed knuckles. (IH manual locking hubs, 4.10:1 gearing) - 304 V8 - Dual Master Cylinder - Hydraulic Clutch - New Interstate Battery within the last 6 months. - Nicely Reuphulstored bench seat, nice gauges, new glove box liner, new headliner. - Heater works well, high and low, as well as the defrost. - Winshield wipers work - two speed - washer fluid also works as it should. - All gauges work as they should except the fuel gauge (gauge has been tested and is good. Sender in tank needs replacing) - Good off road tires (yokohama) with 80% tread life - Spare tire visible in photo 11 is included. - New kingpin bearings in the front drivers side (new wiper seal as well to keep the closed knuckle clean). - Manual hubs work buttery smooth and have been recently cleaned and repacked with grease. - All lights work except the drivers rear tail light. High and low beams work. Turn signals work. Emergency flahsers work. Dashboard lighting works. Reverse lights work. - Pre wired for a 7 way standard trailer connector. - Original IH towing mirrors. - Both sunvisors are good. - Has wind wings to direct airflow which work as they should. - Both windows roll up and down as they should. - Doors both lock, but drivers side is missing the lock cylinder. - Has AM radio with new speaker but is not working. Original antenna included but not mounted. - Parking brake works as it should. - 3 new wheel cylinders in the last year. - New brake shoes front and rear less than 8000 miles ago. - Has knobs for manual choke and throttle position (cruise control). Both work perfectly. - Cooling system works perfectly and has never even come close to overheating (even when towing on a long grade) - New rear u-bolts (5/8th's inch grade 8) plus new Rancho shock absorbers in rear. - Rear suspension has overload springs and handles nicely with a full load of gravel. - New points and condensor less than 5000 miles ago. - Cooling System flush less than 8000 miles ago with new coolant and a new freeze plug. - New motocraft/holley 2100 2 barrell carburetor with manual choke less than 8000 miles ago. - New electric fuel pump with filter. - New rear tailshaft seal on transfer case. - Clutch, transmission and transfer case, axles and brakes all work perfectly. - There are some dents around the bottom of the truck on the bed and one of the rocker panels has some denting. (see pictures) - I also found bondo in a couple of spots in the rear. - Rust is light and the truck appears to have never seen salt. - Not a show truck, but a great every day driver, work truck, hunting truck, or off road rig. - Truck starts easily and tracks straight down the road. - Perfect start for a first truck or a great project with a great drivetrain to turn into an off roader. - Leaks a bit of oil (doesn't burn it), but what 45 year old truck doesn't? - Miles may go up slightly from listing date, as this is a daily driver (though I will try to minimize use) - I have a clear California title in hand and have just uploaded some videos of the truck running and driving to youtube. Here are the links: http://youtu.be/gbLZd_4LhA8 http://youtu.be/TqqbH4A6kz0 http://youtu.be/ANtbHuUjqi4 http://youtu.be/sKg3rUlOKCc If you look around my youtube channel there are also a few other videos of the International doing assorted tasks. I have greatly enjoyed driving this truck and hate to sell it as it has never left me stranded and drives nicely. I've towed other trucks and tractors with it over the grapevine and elsewhere. I've hauled full loads of supplies, and taken it on 800+ mile roadtrips on multiple occasions without issue. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck home to wherever you live. Over the next year I will need to move into a family vehicle that seats more than 3 and can't afford to keep two vehicles around. Hope it goes to someone that will put it to good use and appreciate its uniqueness!!! If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask and I'll answer to the best of my ability. If you want any more specific pictures I'll do my best to get them to you. My 100% feedback has been built up over the past 6 years with hard work and great communication. I'd like to keep this up. The usual disclaimers. This vehicle is sold as is, where is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I may be able to drop it off at a close freight terminal. The truck can also be picked up by a car transport service from an industrial address, or come in and drive it home. I encourage anyone with the ability to come and check it out in person to get a better feel for what this truck is all about. I will need non refundable paypal deposit of $500 within 24 hours of auction close with the remainder balance paid at pickup. Thanks for taking the time to check out this great truck!
