This is a very straight older restomod of a 1949 Jeepster. The body has very little rust, and is probably a 25 year old restoration. This car could be put back to running/driving condition in a weekends time. Then previous owner said that it was running just fine when it was put in storage in the mid 90s. I have not yet started the car, due to the condition of the original fuel tank. I pulled a valve cover off of the engine to check the head casting number, and all of the components appeared to be very low mileage. The engine is a small block Chevy with 60cc heads, and a powerglide transmission. Power assist steering has been added to the original system as well. The body is very solid, and there is very minimal rust in the floorpans for a 63 year old car. Tilt steering was installed in the car, as well as a more modern bench seat.This is a very good candidate for restoration, and most of the difficult modification has already been done.I will deliver within 150 miles of 40391 with buy it now price, after funds have been recieved.
