Vehicle Detail
Hi, I have a Late 1999 Subaru Forester for SALE !!.It has been my best companion for 3.5 years, but it is time to move on. The car is still pretty young for its age (145k miles). Subaru's have known to run 250k at ease. The good stuff: 1. Well the car does not have a single spot of rust (all around and underbody) - Considering i was in Syracuse, NY for 3 years thats pretty amazing2. New Tires from Firestone for 550$ with less than 2000miles on them3. Brand new brakes all around (600$) installed less than a month back4. Subaru Factory exhaust and catalytic converter ($800) installed in 2010 June5. Interiors are clean6. Never been smoked in7. Leather seats (with no rips or tears) just years of use. Not even a single stitching is loose.8. Premium alloy wheels (Factory)9. Pioneer CD player (with aux) with Sony xPlod speakers (which i kinda did DYI). It also has the factory AM/FM system in it The bad stuff: For a car its age, it practically has been trouble free. 1. The Check Engine light is on due to a cracked Charcoal Canister. Bring a code scanner if u dont believe me and it reads P0440 . The part is $180 from Subaru dealer or Pep Boys. I am not a green-head and i didnt mind letting out a few extra grams of Sulphur into the atmosphere2. The car when started initially takes 5-10 seconds in Drive to move forward. If u nudge the acclerator the car moves. This was explained as problem with the AWD sensors trying to check for grip before the gear engages, Reverse works instantly. Once car has warmed up, it shifts smoothly and i have driven it on 3-2-1 in snow and it gives no problems at all. The neutral stuff: 1. I am currently in Plano,TX and the car is in Cincinnati,OH. My friend has the key and my signed title. He will handle the sale and he has the power of attorney. Well all said and done, there might still be a few, who come and say..hey this is missing or that the dash has a pencil scratch. I am not in a position to come back to Cincinnati to reason , so selling AS-IS. Have fun and happy bidding !! :) Call at (916)-996-6761 or email me at haraysh@gmail.com in case you have any questions
