Vehicle Detail
1985 GMC K1500 NO RESERVE I dont know alot about this truck, I bought it because it looked cool and ran good....... since I am not a 4x4 guy please take a good look at the pictures to answer any of your questions. The truck can be seen in Hazleton pa 18202 by appointment only. Please call 570-573-6788 Jesse Here is what I do know. The truck is extremely high, fits the 39.5 tires under it with ease and has a suspension and 3" body lift. There are no homeade, redneck blocks on this truck. Which is a great PLUS!! The motor is a older 350 gm crate engine, very mild cam, edelbrock intake and edelbrock carb, headers and true dual exhaust into single chamber flowmaster mufflers. Which makes this truck nice and loud when you get on the gas. The motor isnt new anymore, getting a little dirty and does drip some oil but does not smoke at all. The transmission I believe is a 350 turbo with a shift kit. It doesnt slip at all and shifts real firm and hard through all the gears. I have no idea what transfer case is in the truck nor do I know if the rears are original or have any gear swaps done to it. The rear does have ladder bars on it in the back along with travel straps on the front and back. The interior is obviously customized from the previous owner. It has aftermarket dash with autometer gauges for speedometer, gas, volts, temperature and oil. Since it has an aftermarket speedometer I have no idea how many miles are on the truck and it is exempt mechanically. Custom door panels, and speakers and aftermarket sony cdplayer and huge gernades on shifter handles. The seat is torn and needs a seat cover. The truck is equipped with an air compressor and air horns. The compressor is mounted underneath the truck and can hold up to 125lbs of air and the horns are insanely loud and sounds like a train. Scares the crap out of everyone when they blast. Also equipped on the truck is a rear mounted camera that shows up to 40' behind the truck and is very clear to view on the monitor mounted on the dash. (look at the interior pics and you will see the monitor). The body of the truck is very very solid. It has ZERO rust or rot. Was freshly painted by the previous owner and looks good and shines nice. There are a few paint chips, scratches from the woods and 1 dent. The dent is located on the drivers door around the lock cylinder. The body work is not show quality and is a little wavy. The tailgate latch has been shaved smooth and the gas tank door has been shaved smooth also. The tailgate opens with custom clips and latched in the bed of the truck. The gas tank door was eliminated since the gas tank was relocated to the rear bed of the truck and is enclosed with a wooden box. The front bumper and rear bumper are custom bumpers. The tires are in decent shape, they have some gashes and cuts from being used but arent excessively dry rotted or beat up. They have roughly 30-40% life remaining and hold air with no issues. This is not a show truck!!! If that is what you expect please look elsewhere! Yes it is very nice and is custom and can be easily put in truck shows. I consider it a daily driver and have used it as such since i owned it. What the truck needs.......... sometimes the automatic hub on the front driversside clicks. It a sure sign that it will need to be replaced. The cost for a pair of manual hubs is $125.00 for a name brand set. The power steering pump is getting worn, sqeueels at times thanks to the huge tires. I have sold over 15 vehicles on ebay over the years. I have 100% feedback and always list my items as accurately as possible
