Up for sale is a VERY LOW mileage and VERY NICE 1996 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible. This car has only 3112 miles. This car is in excellent condition. It smells new. The car has always been garaged. The car was part of a car collection my uncle had. He passed away recently and I received the car. I am also an avid car enthusiast. I am more into the older muscle cars. This is why I am selling the car. This car looks like it is off the showroom floor! I start the car once a week and let the engine get up to operating temperature. I have a lot of paperwork tracking this car down to the original owner. I have the bill of sale/ purchase order from the dealership when the car was new. It looks like a used car dealer sold the car for the original owners to my uncle. I have a copy of that bill of sale. I have all the history tracking back to when the car was originally purchased new. I have many receipts and state inspection reports when the car was inspected, again showing the low mileage. I have the original window sticker, 1996 Corvette VHS, warranty and owners information book, and more. The car was originally purchased at Hopkins Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in New Carlisle, Ohio. I have seen a Grand Sport coupe NOT Convertible with more mileage sell for $33,000 at Barrett Jackson classic car auction a few months ago. It is my understanding that these convertibles are much more desirable since they only made 190 of them. I have seen these convertibles with similar mileage sell for $59,000 in recent years. I know my uncle paid over $52,000 for this car within the last few years or so.
