Vehicle Detail
For sale today is a hard to find 1967 El Camino. This is a project car so be aware that it will need the usual things a project car needs, the lower patches, some floor work etc. With that in mind, it is still a great start to that classic 67 El Camino build youve been wanting to do. Or it can be the slick Rat Rod on air ride for the cruise in, the posibilities are limitless at this stage. This El Camino was originally equipped with a v8 and a three on the tree combo. Three speed is still in car, and still has the clutch and shifting linkages attached and working, driveshaft and factory 10 bolt rear is also intact and turn freely. No suspension components are missing for this build, so it is a roller waiting for your trailer. The original V8 engine is also included, though the condition is unknown and it is currently out of the vehicle in storage, assume it to need a full overhaul. Luckily however with great suppliers like NorthernAutoParts.com you can pick up everything you need for a rebuild for less than 300 bucks! All glass is good in the vehicle, rear window is out, but is included. Drivers door has a dent, but I conveniently have a better spare. Interior is an important part of every build, and lets be honest, if you decide to go the restoration on ANY classic, if the interior is not immaculate, you are most likely going to be redoing it anyway, this interior is no different, luckily it is all there. Inside you will find the original bench seat, steering column with factory 3 spoke steering wheel and aluminum center, gauges, heat and air controls, perfect original dash and dash pad(black), all of the headliner bows are still intact (a real pain to find when they are missing), as are the kick panels. The rest of the body is pretty straight, less the drivers door of course, could use a hood as well but would be fine if going the rat rod route. Tailgate and tailgate stainless are in great shape(another common Elky problem). Gas door area on this Elky is surprisingly good, if you are familiar with El Camino's you know they have a bad habbit of rusting here. I would rate the car at approximately 75% complete. Missing radiator, grille, bumper, misc trim, front inner fenders, otherwise its all there. Any questions feel free to ask.
