Selling this elegant 1967 Mercedes Benz 230S that was found in the central valley of Caliornia. It is finished in code 158-white gray on black. This is not your garden variety 230. This is the S class of it's day. There is no mistaken this for the 110 model. These 111's had chrome finishes on it's fins, taillights, lower hood and right above the turn signals. It also features the stacked dual headlights up front and full hubcaps. It also has wood surrounding the lower cowl area and around the windshield and door frames. All the wood is present. It does need to be refinished. It also has floor shift and factory a/c. All books and copious records are present as this was represented to be a two owner car. It did have black plates as evidenced by the old California Pink Slip. The second owner opted for personal plates that read "R67 230S".The odometer has turned over once according to the previous owner. It was originally bought in the small Southern Caliornia town of Monterey Park by Maria Herrera. The metal data plate still present has her information on it along with the vin and motor number. How many 230S can sport this type of documentation? The air-condition manual still has the sticker that was never afixed to the door! It is a nice driver with some minor rust issues. Any good shop can do the repair. The lower driver's door sill has a rust hole on it.(see photo and video). The lower left quarter has some rust, not through yet but will need to be addressed.(see photo and video). The rockers and jack points are clean. The interior is in great shape with exception of the headliner in the right rear. It is sagging.(see photo and video). If you have been searching for a 230S, then this is the one.
