Up for auction is a 1972 Dodge Charger. This car has been under restoration for the last 2 years and is one awesome ride. The body was stripped down to bare metal. Then all metal work was done, all panels came from AMD quarters, front & rear valances ect. Then the car received a coat of PPG 1791 etching primer and 3 coats of PPG K38 surfacer. Then the Guide coat was applied. From there the car received 750 hours of blocking until the car was slicked out. Then it received PPG NCS 2004 sealer was applied with 3 coats of PPG vibrance Limecandy green with gold pearl on top of it(very expensive paint looks awesome when the sun hits WOW!). Then it received 4 coats of PPG 2002 polyurethane clear coat. I have invested a ton of money in the body alone. Panel alignment is awesome when you look down the car the quarter, doors, fenders look like one piece. You must see this car to appreciate it, the pictures don't do its justice. This isn't Ebay junk here no ripples body flaws ect. laser straight. The color does change under different lights and just looks awesome when the sun hits it. The car has all brand Rally mirrors, Triple chrome plated front bumper with new emblem(waiting on the rear one to get done) new weather stripping, door handles, antenna, door locks and ignition switch, sidemarkers ect. I can go on and on just trying to give a basic idea. The engine is a fresh 1968 440 .30 over with KB pistons, custom grind cam, ported 906 heads with edelbrock intake and carb & holley electric fuel pump. Has a nice muscle car lope and sound with 3in exhaust and dynomax mufflers. It runs awesome the trans is a fresh 727 with shift kit and 2400 stall convertor(nice firms shifts). This makes for a very nice streetable package. There is less than 100 miles on the drive train fresh and ready to be broke in. The car currently has 3.23 gear but I have a suregrip unit ready to go in with a 3.55 gear which is recommended for this combo. The car has Weld wheels with brand new tires all around. The car also has all the best options on it power disc brakes, powersteering, rally gauge package 150 speedo ect., slapstick shifter, has the power bulge hood, hideaway headlights, R/T tail lights and bezels ect. The carpet is new, dash is nice, all gauges and wiring has been restored and work. The seats need redone and the headliner and you can be ready for all the car shows this coming summer and have a blast with it. I also have a ton of extra parts that I will include with the car if the buy it now is used. You will need to install the new ball joints and bushings which will be included they are from energy suspension. I have invested a lot of time and money in this car, I will be taking a big loss on the car but have to let her go so someone will get an excellent deal on this.
