Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1989 Ford F250 4x4 xlt Lariat truck with a very interesting history. This truck is in very good condition.Has a 5.8 351 V8 engine.I got it from the original owner(Have all the paperwork)The title is still his name stating that it had 21 miles when he bought it brand new locally 10/04/89 from Ditchman Ford in flemington for a grand total of $17,340.The truck runs and drives very well. The 4 wheel drive works as it should and the transfer case shifts good also. The truck is very tight. There is no rot anywhere!!cab corners, cab mounts, wheel wells look like new!Just some surface rust poping up under the paint in a few spots and the frame has some surface rust in some spots underneath the undercoating that was sprayed on from the dealer.Thats it!I tried to take as many pictures as I could. This truck was used very little over a 23 year span. The truck has never even left the state or township for that matter!Do a car-fax or title check and see for yourself. The man bought this truck to have around his farm and to tow his horse trailer with to a couple of different farms once in a while.Wasnt even really used for work.In fact it never even had a plow or got used during the winter months thats why its in such great shape.Even the inside of the bed shows very little use.Still has the factory exhaust(minus the tail pipe)The truck has been sitting a lot so it really needs to gone over.Tune-up,fluid changes, etc.Needs tires because they are dry rotted. The paint is faded and it has some damage to the bed in the right rear from someone backing into something but the rest of the truck is strait. This would be a great truck for some looking to restore from this era and is a diehard Ford truck fan like myself or use as a daily work truck because it has lots of life left in it yet.Very hard to find these older trucks like this because a lot of them are so used and beat up by now.I really wanted to keep this truck because its so nice but im running out of room and I have 3 other trucks for work so I really dont even need it and it will just keep sitting in the barn.Your welcome to come see it anytime before bidding.E-mail me with any questions.PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU ARE SERIOUS AND ARE GOING TO FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE AUCTION!! THANK YOU!!!On Jan-15-12 at 09:05:39 PST, seller added the following information: Also wanted to add that the air conditioning worked in the truck when I tried it over the summer but it wasnt real cold coming out and the compressor was kicking on and off so it will need to be fully charged.I was going to charge it up but it still has r12 freon in it and it and I never got a chance to convert it over to 134a and charge the system.
