***This is being relisted because I did not check "Rebulit Title"** You are bidding on a 1990 Saab 900 S - Non Turbo I purchased this car for my son in April of 2007. It is a 5 speed non turbo. It ran flawlessly until he got in accident and and rear ended someone. I ended up putting the front back together with parts from a salvage yard. I replaced the hood with a red one and had it painted by Maaco (see picture - inside of hood not painted). Both headlight assemblies, grill, radiator core support and cross member were replaced. As you can see by the pictures, there is some rust around the wheel wells and door bottoms. Summary:Seats and Interior are in very good condition.Typical Saab cracks on Dash.Transmission will not shift into first but drives fine in all other gears (have not had it looked at to see what exactly is wrong - could be a bad shifting fork)New catalytic converter, mid pipe and rear muffler at 178,000 (converter weld broke near where it clamps, thus the wire) - SEE PICTURESRebulit starter at 177,000.New Tires at 175,000 - SEE PICTURES.Small transmission fluid leak at the inner driver on drivers side.Clutch replaced at 170,00 - clutch kit, including slave and master cylinder.No radio.There is some rust at the doors - SEE PICTURES.There is some rust at the weheel wells - SEE PICTURES.Roof has some clearcoat and paint fade issues - SEE PICTURE.Cruise control does not work.Power door locks work.Power windows work but slow to go up and down.Took out the A/C Compressor but have the parts.Car has been sitting in the driveway for a year and a half.Motor runs well but it will occasionally surge. May be some kind of vacumn leak, but am not sure.No Trouble lights or any dashboard warning lights on. I have owned and worked on Saabs for 15+ years. Had a 1989 900Turbo, 1991 900S, and currently have a 1998 900S and 1998 900SE. Originally I had plans to attempt the repair myself but decided against because we have six cars in our driveway and I simply don't have the time. The car will drive, as you can start in second without any problem. There is absolutely no guaratee on this car because of its age. A Saab Enthusiast could easily bring this back to life. Bewteen the starter, the converter, exhaust and tires, there's over $1500.00 put into this car before the transmission issue appeared. Let me know if you have any questions.
