Vehicle Detail
This 56' Chevrolet Bel Air started life as a hard top. The top was chopped before I owned it. There is no top for this ride......can easily have a carson top made.... It features a very healthy sounding 327 V8, rebuilt with approximately 50K on rebuild, headers, cam, Holley carb, dual flowmaster exhuast, New Painless wiring harness, Rack and pinion power steering, front disc brakes, recent power brake booster, drum rear brakes, 4 speed manual on the floor, recent clutch. 10 bolt rear end. The body is in fairly good condition, nice metalic black paint with the exception of a few minor flaws, shaved door handles, almost flawless rear 1/4 panels, one minor rust spot under the trunk...about the size of a 50 cent piece....this is an original California car though....only a few areas that need to be addressed. It has a 3" x 5" scrape on the left top fender, (2) one half inch scrapes on the passenger fender. The interior has a few minor flaws as well....a cat had decided to claw a couple locations on the top of the seats....not too bad though. The trunk lid needs to be re aligned and has some minor paint damage on the right and left side. There are a few small nicks and scrapes here and there. She needs front windshield and hood. The trunk lid key lock has been shaved as well....has switch under dash that no longer releases trunk lid. The steering wheel has been trimmed down, features a nice sounding stereo system: Classic industries deck with Ipod hookup, two 6.5 inch fronts, two 6" x 9" rears, and two 10" subs in bandpass box. Power antenna. 22 inch wheels with tires in great shape! She has working fuel gage, speedo does not work. Has three gauges under center dash that all work, Water temp, Oil pressure, and Amps...these all work. This awesome ride always starts and runs.....goes down the road well, however could use a carb adjustment to get it sweet. I have tried to be upfront and completely honest about this car. I bought it with the intentions of making it really incredible, however things don't always go as planned. I am going to miss it. This ride gets more looks and thumbs up than any other show car that I have owned. It never gets hot...even on the hottest of days. Any questions at all....Please do not hesitate to call me @ (707) 217-4979. This is a rare chance to own one of the most popular American Icons of all time.....for less than 20k.On Jan-08-12 at 09:56:46 PST, seller added the following information: Also has new fuel tank.On Jan-08-12 at 14:30:33 PST, seller added the following information: If you have a "0" feedback, please contact me via phone number listed above BEFORE bidding....Thank you for your understanding.
