I am listing this car for a friend who has owned the car since July 1979. He is on oxygen 24 hours a day. I know very little about the car, but what I do know, I will share with you. The car has been stored since 1996. I have not cleaned, or dusted the car. It is as it came from storage, with the exception that I changed the motor oil, transmission fluid, and 4 cloth covered spark plug wires, that mice had ate through. I slipped a 6 volt battery in to see if it turns over, and it did. CONDITION: The paint appears to be original, but had some touch up during the present owners stewardship. It should clean up very well. The interior has been redone by the current owner,in the early 80s. It needs repair, or replacement. The trunk has a broken hinge, on the right side. Tires are old,worn, and should be replaced. The windshield has 6 chips, that possible can be repaired. The radiator / motor was drained for storage in 1996. Surface rust on bumpers, and some chrome trim. Body appears to be free of rust.The car comes with considerable history. There have been 3 owners, as documented with registration slips, and title. The original purchase invoice is included. There are battery & tire warranty cards,1951 service manual, and the original Packard document file. A picture of the present owner and car, shortly after purchasing the car in 1979. The car was first sold in Hawarden Iowa Sept. 15, 1951.
