1970 challenger RT 383 tribute sublime manual factory air mopar 4speed Restored Item Description FULLY RESTORED 1970 DODGE CHALLENGER! LOADED WITH POWER BRAKES, fatory am radio, POSI, AND PUSHING WELL OVER 300 HP! AC CAR! This Challenger would make the perfect Touring car! What we have is a fully restored 1970 Dodge Challenger which was just recently completed. This Challenger went through an entire rotisserie restoration and was built using all new components. The entire car has less than three hundred miles on it. The paint itself was finished less than 2 years ago. We have papers which have documented the build since 2010. There is even documentation that the previous owner had compiled when he had began acquiring parts for this awesome Challenger. If you're looking for a turn key muscle car that you can show and go in, then this is the Mopar for you. I will tell you from first hand experience that this thing is unbelievably scary and will quickly put those little Honda weed eaters in their place. If it doesn't deafen them and leave them trembling in their place, it will definitely leave them standing in a screen of smoke. Located below, you will find video as well as over one hundred photos of the Challenger. I have been very blessed to be a part of building some very awesome E Bodies over the years and It is not often that one can truly say this but, the photos located below do not do this Challenger a bit of justice. I can guarantee that the first person who is serious about owning this Challenger, all it is going to take is for them to see and hear it in person. There is no possible way one could be displeased with this Challenger. Body: Once the body on this Challenger was completely stripped down, it was placed on the rotisserie and then blasted. It has received a new trunk as well as trunk extensions and half quarters. The body work was done professionally and is as straight as an arrow. The paint as you will see is the correct 1970 FJ5 Sublime and is absolutely gorgeous. It is a base coat clear coat job and was also done professionally. The door jams, engine bay, every inch of the car was painted minus the under carriage. There is absolutely zero rust anywhere through out this Challenger. All of the glass with the exception of the wind shield is factory. There is no major pitting or scratches anywhere through out the glass. It is all in excellent condition. The trim through out the Challenger has also been completely redone and you will not find any major pitting or scratches through out any of it. It is all in excellent condition. The back bumper is brand new. Both bumpers shine up nicely and are both in excellent condition. The Challenger is sitting on a new set of 15x7 Rally wheels which are also in excellent condition and are wrapped with Radial. Engine & Mechanical: The motor within this Challenger is by far the focal point of the car. It is a fully rebuilt and very documented 383. It has yet to be Dynoed but we estimate that it is pushing well over 300 HP. You will find photos of more details located below. The motor does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluids. The motor is by a fully rebuilt 383 bored over .03. Both the motor and transmission have less than three hundred miles on them and are both in excellent working order. It also is backed by a fully rebuilt 8 3/4 Posi rear end. The Challenger also sits on a set of power brakes which are also new pads and in excellent working order. This Challenger is a AC car but does not have a AC compressor if you want the ac to work in the car. Interior: The interior as you will see has been completely redone. most of it is all brand new. Everything was purchased from Year One. New Headliner New Door Sills New Weather Stripping New Seat Covers (both buckets and back seat) New/Refurbished Center Console New Dash Pad New Carpet Console dash wire harness It has all been redone and is in excellent condition. One thing you will notice, we did have a reproduction vin tag produced and it all matches the options you see within this Challenger. I must say, this is by far one of the best and most well documented 1970 Challengers you will ever find. So if you are looking to get in to an awesome muscle car but want to stay away from the 1970 price range, this Challenger will more then suit your needs. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early as we do have it for sale "locally". I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. good luck and happy bidding!
