Up fpr sale a realy nice 1972 Datsun 240Z, this car belongs to a friend of mine, the car has tremndous body lines and great gaps. The car is totally rust free except for the tail gate which is notorious for retaining water with the subsequent rust areas. He has found acomplete tailgate for $ 50-wihtout any rust, and the contact will be given to the new owner.The hood had a couple of light scratches which is now all sorted and in primer and only need painting, the correct paint has been matched and is ready to paint. Mechanically the car runs and drives very well with good brakes, transmission and steering. The interior is complete and in excellent condition, with no rips or tears in the upholstery and no signs of wear. Some of the plastic panels are showing signs of being past there prime, therefore a complete complement of black plastic panels are included. There is also a complete set of trunk and door seals, as well as the other parts from the vehicle. As you can see the rest of bodywork, although dirty in the pictures, is in superb condition with perfect gaps, dead straight down both sides, and the paint is of exceptional quality. There is absolutely no rust apart from the tailgate and associated areas as evidenced by the underbody pictures and those of the spare wheel well. The shuts are original paint, see underside of hood stickers and the Manufacturers ID plate on the driver's side door shut. So for a modicum of effort you can have a pristine 240Z for very little money. Please contact me with any questions and have any inspections carried out before bidding.
