This auction is for a 1979 Mercedes 450 SLC 2dr. This Mercedes comes with a clean California title, and a smog certificate. This item is being sold by a charity and we have no history on the item. Please bid accordingly. The body is in good shape and is straight and complete, the paint is in good shape, all glass is fine, and the rims and tires look good. The front windshield has small crack on top on pass side. The tires are at about 35%. The trunk is clean with a low spare, full length car cover, and all tools. The engine compartment is in decent shape as well. This car looks to have been kept in pretty good shape, has only very minor dings all around. One of the fog lights up front has crack in lens. Body has been repainted but paint job looks pretty good. The interior of the car is clean and in good shape as well. The leather seats are in good shape with no rips. The headliner and door panels are fine; the dash is in good shape as well. The carpet and floor mats have minor and normal wear but not bad. All of the power options appear to work fine. The A/C may or may not be working; it is not cold at all but fan blows. This Mercedes appears to run fine, it has not been driven extensively by us but it does appear to shift, brake, and accelerate fine. The exhaust pipe is low so it needs to be taken slowly down hills. This item may need a new battery has it has been sitting. We do only have one key for this item but have all manuals. No Reserve, the buyer must pick up this item no later than 7 days after the end of the auction. Please bid accordingly. Winning bidder must contact us within 48 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction.
