1972 Porsche 911S Targa. This car was a stalled restoration project, the car has some rust in the drivers side rocker and the prior owner began to repair it before deciding to sell the car. Other than the open rocker, the car quite rust free with a prefect suspension pan, floor pan, and battery boxes. The only other rust I could find is a few paint bubbles at the base of the passenger side door. Apparently, the prior owner had a parts car as there is really about 1.5 early cars worth of parts included in the auction. The parts are neatly packaged in about 10 extra cardboard boxes. From what I can tell this was a factory delivery car that was used in Europe prior to being shipped back to the states. Its was originally painted in the very desirable shade of metallic blue (324). This car comes with the original gearbox but the MFI S motor was removed at some point in the past. I would be happy to help the buyer find an S case or complete motor if desired. Also, available at extra cost is a fresh 73.5 CIS motor. The buyer of this car will have first choice on this motor and we will make a nice package price for the lot.
