You are bidding on a fine example of a vintage 1973 Transporter/Westfalia. This has been a labor of love for me for the past two years and unfortunately have to sell her. This is a great bus and is perfect for whatever adventures you take her on from the beach to family camping trips. Below is a description of all I have done over the past two years but if there is something I haven't covered in the description, please feel free to ask. If you are local, I'd be happy to show her off and am certain you'll be pleased with what you see. Major features are: It starts right up every time on the first key turn. Runs great with lots of power. Great shifting transmission Great looking exterior restoration. It was painted with high quality paint. NEW WINDOW RUBBER all the way around, class was removed for painting. All Upholstery is NEW and in great shape New Pop Top Canvas and screens (Plus notice the large screen has a zipper so you can access the luggage rack from the inside of the bus - so much more convenient then standing on the rear bumper!) New front floor mat Excellent Dash. New front emblem. New side markers. New Rear Bumper New antenna. Tires are good. Comes with spare tire and original plastic cover A deposit of $1500 is required at the closing of the auction. Lastly, don't get too excited about the mileage, I'm not sure if this is the original dash or not so I'm not sure about how many miles are on this bus. All I know is that it runs and drives great and has been checked out by a VW mechanic I trust and he agrees with my statement. I will be more then happy to give you their Business name and number.
