I am selling a 1988 VW Cabriolet. I bought and restored this car for my girlfriend but things have come up and it must be sold. The car was originally silver with a gray top. It is now 2007 Dodge viper red. and 2000 VW black meca. VW never Two toned these cars and it looks good!! and you wont see another like it!! It looks great!! the sun light really sets this car off but it was ugly outside today when i took the pics. Ill try to get more when the sun is out. I shaved the big ugly square corner lights also, The third brake light on the trunk lid. and the side moulding. That alone makes these cars look so much better and cleaner. it has no real rust. just a little surface rust here and there like any car. its the most solid cabriolet i have seen and im a VW tech. This car has very low miles also...only 79k!! 5 speed. I also put a set of clear angel eye headlights and a billit gas cap on it. the interior does need cleaned and it has dirt in the fuel distibutor. I been planning on cleaning it but just been so busy i have not gotten around to it. so right now it starts and runs rough. Its not a hard job to clean. Just basic tools and some time.
