Vehicle Detail

Hi All Ebayer's up for auction is my J.A.P. 680 cc OHV V-twin project bike. I am not 100 % sure of the make of this but I was planing on building it as a Brough / Zenith / Coverntly Eagle type racer. I am not sure of the exact year so l have listed it as 1927. This is a unreserve auction and the bike will sell to the highest bidder. I am selling this do to personal reasons only. I have been working on this project for many years:- Overview of Bike. Please refer to all pictures as they form the better part of the discription. The Castle forks front blades are new and have skillfully fitted to the front forks. These type of forks were fitted to many vintage bikes in the 1920's ranging from Zenith to Brough's. The rear blades are original. Both guards are also new as the orginal pair were to bad to rebuild, there are made to the correct profile. The engine is a J.A.P. v-twin 680 cc, and OHV. The motor has a pair of new barrels that have been machined ready for use, but will require a light hone. The motor is turning over, and has all the cams and followers in place. Included but not fitted is pair of NOS bevel gears for the magy. The heads have new valve guides fitted, new valves, and inserts, but the valves have not been trimmed to lenght yet. Also included are 3 x rocker boxes new unmachined to suit, and 4 x rocker arms. Not shown in pictures are 8 x new head nuts. The engine has been been through bolted, which was a standard feature in the day. The motor also has a 90 degree magy platform. The oil pump has the side mounting plates, but not fitted, just missing the top oil inspection cover. Also I have pair of new hex for the mainfoild but nut fitted yet. It is missing the push rods. The frame number is 810. The gear box number is CR MA 12178 and is a Sturmey Archer. I have not had this gear box apart, but it does turn over freely and also changes gear. The wheels look like they are of the Enfield type, and also are great condition. Other part that go with the bike:- Pair of foot rests, and hanger. Spare wheel rim, same as rear rim. BTH magy, and ML Magy base only. Carby parts. New rear sprocket (not fitted yet) Payment terms: $500. deposit to be be made via Pay Pal only and within 24 hours of auction closing. Balance to be paid via bank transfer with 7 days of auction closing. Shipping I will help with all aspects on my end, and can take apart to make it easyer to freight. Please feel free to ask email and ask any questions. Thanks and good luckOn Jan-05-12 at 04:48:59 PST, seller added the following information: Hi all, Thank you for the questions regarding freight.
