PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THE CAR, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BID IF YOU HAVE 0 OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, THIS IS MY SECOND TIME LISTING THIS CAR DUE TO SCAMS. Mileage will increase slightly because I do drive the car daily. Here is a very rare 1989 Peugeot 405 MI16. Red with Grey leather interior, 122k miles. Fully loaded with sunroof, power windows and locks, heated seats, etc. I have owned this car for about a year and have put allot of time and money into it, however now its time to part with it. Runs and drives well. New paint a few months ago, no rust ever. New clutch less then 1000 miles ago. This car is in good shape for its age, however its not perfect but is a nice driver. Pros... -Clean body without any major flaws. This car gets lots of comments about how clean it is. -Interior is in good shape for the cars age. -The engine runs very well and has plenty of power. -All of the lights, windows, sunroof etc work well. -Tires and in good shape, -New clutch assembly. -New paint -Nice aftermarket CD player, original radio included. Cons... -Paint job turned out nice, but with a wet sanding it would like almost perfect (it does have some orange peel), I will try to find time to do this before the auction ends. -The body is nice but does have a few dings, also the front bumper is pushed it slightly on the passenger side. (The car still shows very well). -Interior has 2 lose seems, a small one of the drivers seat bottom, and another on the back seat seatback. (interior isn't perfect but is nice for the cars age). -The car does have a cold start issue, it always starts but takes about 30 seconds to get it started and to also idle smoothly. Sometimes it also does this when the engine is warm. I'm pretty sure something is just disconnected or lose because this problem developed after I had the new clutch installed. (Maybe something was bumped while working on it). -The car also has a clunk that's coming from the front when you go over bumps or accelerate hard (Lose or bad engine mount maybe?) (The car is still very drivable and drives nicely). -Power steering pump makes noise when making tight turns, its been doing this since I got the car. -Small chip in windshield. Again overall this is a nice car for its age and I drive regularly without any problems. This will be a very nice unique car for someone to drive as is or finish restoring. Please keep in mind this is a 22 year old car and does have some flaws.
