The bulk of the production rolled off the assembly line in March and April of 1978 (4,091 cars). The remaining 736 were built in MAY over a 4-day span ONLY and RACE DAY was the 28th of this very month!!! There are minor faint cracks along where the bonding strips are located on both fenders. This issue is notorious with this model and not real noticeable on this Corvette.
