This 1956 Cadillac Seville has been very well cared for since day one. The car was only painted once several years ago in its original color of Cape Ivory. The paint is starting to show its age with some crazing on the top of the car. The car is totally rust free except for some small bubbles on the back on the right rear rocker and bottom of the left rear quarter. They are both easy fixes. To be a truly excellent car it would benefit greatly from a beautiful new paint job. The sides are very straight so there would be hardly any body work. The chrome is overall in excellent condition but again some pieces would need to be replated for the car to be perfect. The black vinyl top is original and still in great condition. It has all original glass in the car that is excellent. It would make a great driver the way it sits if you like the original look but it would not take much to make this baby look like a show car. It has an almost totally original black and white leather interior that looks amazing. The only thing that has been redone in the car is the front seat and the carpet, which where both done correctly.. The rest of the interior is all original. The dash and gauge cluster is as bright and clean as the day it was new. The steering wheel is excellent with no cracks. Everything works on the car except for the clock and the radio. Inside the trunk is totally all original, with its original decals, material, jack and original saber spare. This Cadillac only has 53,000 believed to be original miles. "Pride and Joy" can only sum up how this car has survived this long this way. Don't miss this chance Bid Now! Mechanically, the engine and transmission run flawlessly. This '56 Caddy drives excellent with no issues at all. The original, numbers matching motor runs like a top. The car recently benefited from a significant mechanical rebuilding to make it dependable for regular driving enjoyment.
