1967 Chevrolet Impala non SS, non Super Sport, 327 Convertible Red Parchment/White Presented by NicKey Chicago with the BacKwards "K" This special car was just made available by it's long term 86 years young, caretaker. He felt it was time to pass on his pride and joy so that someone else could enjoy this car as much as he did. Options; Original and very desirable Bolero Red code "R" with Parchment imitation leather interior code "894". Was original 327ci now has 350ci Power Glide Automatic Transmission Power Steering Power Brakes Power Top 2 speed wipers with washers Back up lights Padded dash Cornering lights All original LOF Shaded soft ray glass Day Night Mirror Out side Bow tie mirror Floor Mats Dual Exhaust Convertible top Boot This car has been updated with a 350ci small block Chevy engine, it still retains its original power brake and power steering systems. Under the hood the car looks factory stock. It has new Firestone P235 X 15" tires and a recent full dual exhaust system. The car runs and drives excellent. All lights, turn signals, 4 way flashers, power top, wipers, back up lights, horns work as they should. Most fully restored cars don't have all these items working! The LOF Softray glass is nice with no breakage or cracks. All windows roll up and down with ease, as do the vent windows. This Impala has an updated an AM/FM cassette stereo with 4 speakers and Dolby noise reduction. There was no damage to the dash or cutting of the door panels for the stereo installation.Gas gauge and speedometer also work. Interior is very nice original driver quality throughout. No rips or tears in seats or door panels. Padded dash is mint with no rips, tears or cracks. Dash gauges have clear lenses with good color. The clock works intermittently. Odometer shows appox. 18,000 miles ans is being sold as mileage exempt due to the age of the vehicle. The convertible top is there and has repairs, it goes up and down with ease, but the top material will need to be replaced if you plan to drive in bad weather, or just leave it down and enjoy as a convertible should be enjoyed. Both air vents pull open and closed just fine and do not hang up. As far as the body goes; the sections below the body line will need metal and patch work. The car runs and drives very nice with no engine or transmission noises. It tracks very straight down the road. It has a white parade boot to cover the convertible top when down. This car is NOT perfect. It does have rust which was repaired a long time ago and will need to be repaired once again. This car is a very solid foundation, the frame and floors are very solid for a 44 year old vehicle. This is a great starting point for a restoration project, fix as you drive or leave it as is.
