Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1969 Camaro project car in need of restoration. The car is complete with all the glass, trim, wipers, seats, interior, etc, however everything is in rough shape and will need to be redone. Front windshield is cracked. The body needs some work but is pretty solid compared to a lot of other camaros I've seen in this rough condition. The rust you see in only surface rust. The floors are solid and the trunk floor is fair with some small man made holes. Somebody in the past went a little crazy with the bondo on the rear quarters to flare the wheel wells. I broke away some of the bondo to find the metal is still there, however I would put new quarters on it to make it perfect. I have some new quarter skins that will go with the car along with a new tail panel and new spoiler. The car comes with a new set of fiberglass front fenders and lower gravel panel. A lot of extra parts as well as you see in the pictures. This would be a great foundation for a resto-mod as this is what I plan to build if the car doesn't sell. There is an engine in the car, I is probably a 327ci but I am not sure. The heads and intake are missing and have been missing for some time as the cylinders are weathered. There is a th350 transmission mounted behind the engine along with the drive shaft bolted to the 10 bolt rear end. I have more pictures of the car and its components on photo bucket. Click on link below; http://s1182.photobucket.com/albums/x452/chevyelc69/ I also have a 350ci 4-bolt main engine that can go with the car. It is a standard bore and I have the crank, rods, pistons, and oil pan for it. No heads. It was a good running engine when I took it apart. The only reason I took it apart is because I was going to turn it into a 383 stroker, but I ended up using a different block. See picture in the link above. Car is sold with a bill of sale only, It came from Connecticut where cars 25 years and older do not need a title. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thank you and Good Luck! I can deliver the car for $1.00 per mile. The car is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Eric (646)388-0899
