i am selling a 1971 vw ghia, this car is my daily driver. except when it snows. the car runs and drives perfect. just had tune up done. i will stand behind that 100%. the pan on the car is great. i will try and get some pics up. if i can not. just email me and i will send then to you. i will send and extra pic of anything you would like me to. you can talk to the mechanic. the car has a clean bill of health. and yes i would have no problem driving this car across country and back. does not leak. just about everything works in the car. like a vw it has some little corks. it has a new interior, 5 year old paint, 8000 miles or so on the motor and transmission. PLEASE, have someone come and take a look for you if you would like. i was the GM for VW for 9 years and have owned over 50 of these cars. i was a huge collector of them before i got into i got divorced and into a major accident, leaving me on life support. i have been selling everything i can to make money and keep the family going. i will even send you pics of some of my other Ghia's so you can see if you would like. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR UNLESS YOU ARE A SERIOUS BUYER AND HAVE THE MONEY AND OK TO BUY. THE DEAL MUST GO DOWN AS PLANNED, OTHERWISE I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PAY MY RENT. VERY VERY IMPORTANT. ok, so the pan is about perfect, no rust, before the car was painted they filled in some things. like the side chrome strips. there is a little bit of acid that ate through next to battery in the back. all numbers match. there are a few more thing that need to be done. needs a new rear pass side tail light lens. and i think only one nob. which i believe i have it. the inside door openers need the surrounding plates lost them when interior was getting done. i will be happy to take the car anywhere you would like to have it looked over. the paint is not the best job.i think it was Maco. but the body is straight. no accidents. besides some one breaking the tail light. if you are looking for a GREAT every day driving Ghia. this is it. it does have extra cooling fans so it should never get hot. the whole car itself does not have very many miles. it was driven in the summer. there are a couple scratches her and there. nothing big. nose never hit.still has original jack and spare. and owners manual. i do have some extra parts for the car if you would like them. please call me at 719-321-7792, or email me. if you are out of state like Az, or Ca. i may be able to drive the car to you. i would just want my tickets and gas paid for. the tires are new as well. the car is ready to go any where as is. AGAIN, i will be more than happy to take the car somewhere, or send more pics. this truly is a great car. i have been in the car biz for 20 years, and i know my cars. the car gets plenty of looks. i cant go any where with out someone saying something about the car. the motor is a little bigger than normal so you can go up hills at 80mph no problem. i cant realy think of anything more right now. but do not be afraid to call or text. please. i want you to be very happy with the car. i hate to sell it, but do to bills i HAVE to. otherwise NO WAY. thank you for looking and good luck.
