1957 chevy belair: this car was owned by my grandfather for many years, it has 64,716 original miles, it was in storage in a pole barn in since 1976 until my grandfather bought it in 99, then it sat in his garage till now,the only thing we did on it was to have the wheels sandblasted and painted, it is all original with everything in tact. the car is exceedingly solid other than surface rust through the original paint, the only rust-through areas i have found are in the panel under the trunk lid behind the rear bumper, and in the pass. floor board in one spot about 2 1/2" across. it is a 283 v8 car, iv heard it run about six years ago, and it ran well, but it sat. the engine does turn over, but needs some attention before trying to start (carburator rebuild exc.). the lights work, except one headlight is burnt out, and everything is there. please e-mail me with any questions. thanks!
