Vehicle Detail

1969 Camaro Z28 X77 Unsure were to start with this one. This car is one of my many projects that needs to find a new home and somebody that can finish it. I have owned this car since 1980. The car has had 3 owners in its life which I have had a title search done. The car was bought new in Coffeyville,Ks and went to Peru, KS in 1971 and finally ended up in Great Bend,KS in 1973. I rescued this car somewhere between sitting outside with the window down and the interior out of it and adding a drivetrain to finding its way to the dragstrip. It has been in storage since I have owned it. The person that owned it before me had started to remove the interior discovered under the silver paint was a Hugger Orange Z-28 and stopped. I struck a deal for the car and all pieces that were around. The body is complete minus the hood. The body is 95% rust free. A smidge of rust starting on the RH rear fender lip and the RH rear passenger floor which had the carpet piled in it with the window down which caused the rust. The glass is all OE and in great shape. Like I said the interior (seats, carpet, door panels) had been removed and discarded. Dash is good and has not been cut up. All door guts are intact and work perfectly. Headliner is intact also. I put a old 10 bolt in it to load it back in the day and rescued the 12-bolt which was in the process of getting spooled and aftermarket axles. The transmission is a M21, but not the original for the car. I do have the correct bell housing and flywheel. Now to the engine. As most Z28 people know having a "CE" block is the next best thing to the original block and 100 times better than Non-matching correct date coded block. And also as most of you know the only way to get this was under the 5year/50,000 GM warranty. And this is exactly what this car has. A BRAND NEW NOS "CE" 302 NEVER BEEN ASSEMBLED BLOCK. I was told that it was warrantied across the counter at what was Bob Reiter Chevrolet in Great Bend, Kansas 1974 and never assembled and was never put back in the car. The block has spent its life in a oiled and cosmolined bag. I have the correct crank, rods and pistons ( one piston has some damage), harmonic balancer, intake manifold. I have a complete front end rebuild kit for the car(,all busings, tie rods, sleeves, ball joints, sway bar parts, etc). NOS emergency brake cables plus many other parts boxed. Don't drag your feet I am a motivated seller and this car will sell. Email me with any questions before bidding. Can help with shipping arrangements if needed. On Dec-19-11 at 19:09:25 PST, seller added the following information: I will store the car indoors for free up to 30 days. After 30 days I will charge $3 a day. After 90 days the car will be considerd abandoned and resold. On Dec-19-11 at 19:50:44 PST, seller added the following information: CLEAR KANSAS TITLEOn Dec-21-11 at 12:14:16 PST, seller added the following information: I also have a SUPER NICE flat hood for this car. Unsure if the car was cowl or flat from the factory.
