1988 Fiero FORMULA; In VERY CLEAN condition. 114,000 miles on chassis. ENGINE: 1988 30k mi 2.8L from another FORMULA; Cyl Head job done "just because" w/mild porting. Injectors bench-flowed and reconditioned. ALL Gaskets Replaced along with Front & Rear Main Seals, Coolant Pump. ALL External Engine Parts cleaned, Painted a/or Powder-Coated for beautification. NEW Trans and Engine mounts & Poly Dog-Bone added. NEW Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor...EGR-less also. This engine was CLEAN to begin with but was internally inspected for authenticity because IT'S the RIGHT THING TO DO! TRANS: Several Clutch discs replaced and all seals. Shift Kit installed and you can feel it! BODY: Paint took a good wax job. Headlight Motors Rebuilt, All Al Radiator installed, Both Doors Glass replaced because of excess scratches. NEW Dew Wipes installed. All door internals cleaned and lubed. NEW S.S. Exhaust Tips. CHASSIS: New Brake Pads, NEW S.S. Braided Brake Hoses installed and Calipers painted. She brakes better than normal 88's because of the New Hoses. NEW Upper & Lower Ball Joints. Front Lowered One Inch. NEW Front Shocks too. NEW Poly Bushings on Both Sway Bars. New Fuel Pump, Sock, Hoses and External Filter. Catless Exhaust. Sounds just right with New Tips. INTERIOR: LEATHER Grand AM GT Seats, popular PONTIAC CD/Radio, Upgraded Speakers, Freshly Shampooed Carpets (removed for this task), No cracks on each lower dash corners, Beautiful inner door panels too. Plastic/Vinyl Surrounds NOT sagged or split either. In summary, she pulls hard, shifts tight, tracks true and stops like an '88 should. This Fiero is the Last Year made and is a true FORMULA of the Fiero marque. The original engine had a significant knock which is kinda rare for an internally balanced 2.8L engine...that's why the engine was replaced...AND I was very fortunate to "connect" with another Fiero Enthusiast who was willing to part with his '88 2.8L out of his 30k mi. FORMULA! The tires have GOOD tread on them but are old. Yes, these ARE '88 wheels (look closely at the PICS in that the front wheels are true '88's)...just painted silver The front shocks are Monroe Brand Yeah, the trunk carpet is real black (NOT Dyed/painted) Yes, the Engine Cradle was de-burred, cleaned, and painted with Epoxy Black paint. The associated hardware with the cradle was in excellent shape. The Exhaust Manifolds were Port-relieved then Tig-welded at their flanges/feet for added strength. The Exhaust System is stock (minus cat) except for the tips. AND, an error in my listing; It has an ALL METAL Radiator...NOT Al.
