Vehicle Detail

This 1975 50th Anniversary Edition MGB-Tourer is in remarkably good condition. It has placed 1st in a car show in the import division with 22 others in the competition. It turns heads where ever you go. Relatively low mileage and runs very well. This vehical has a four speed transmission and an overdrive in the column that works flawlessly. It was been garage kept all of its life. When the car was new it was undercoated, therefore it has no rust. The floor boards and boot is solid. Although oxidation can be found in a few small spots, the paint is good. There is a strange scratch on the trunk above the latch about 1" long. The engine is solid, using no oil and doesn't smoke. If you let the car sit for a couple of weeks, you will find only a small oil spot about the size of a quarter. It has a Webber carburator and starts every time. Like all MGB's, turn on the switch to let the electric fuel pump (new from Moss Motors) kick in, push the accelerator to the floor once and it starts...everytime. The brakes are also solid, no issues with brake lines, etc. The MGB's top is black and is like new... no splits or cracks and about three years old. The seats have MG covers on them, but the original seats are in good shape, just a couple of small places. All of the lights and signals are in good working order. This is not a perfect car, there are some spots and blemishes as you would expect from a car of this age. The undercarriage of the vehical has not been cleaned, but there is NO rust (unusual for an MGB). The tires have about 1,500 miles on them and are in good shape. My wife and I would drive it throughout the summer and fall. The car has never failed us. My ife is now in poor health and we are not able to use it as we did in the past. The MGB gets great gas milage and is a joy to drive. I would be glad to talk to you about the MGB. Just email me and I'll send you may cell number. I have more money in it than what I am asking. Someone just needs to "enjoy the ride"!
