The car has the 435 or 430 inch engine, not sure, and I have been told different things. It is classified as a muscle car and will get up and go quite well when the 4 barrel carburetor is opened up. It was purchased in 2004 as weekend beach car and has been used for that purpose. It draws a nice crowd at Biff Burgers in Pinellas Park. To the best of my knowledge the only improvement on the car was a paint job in 1997 from light blue to candy apple red. The car is driven infrequently and has been service regularly by the local Buick Dealer who has any service records that exist. Over the last 7 years, the only issue that has arisen with the car is the top ran out of fluid -- it is hydraulic -- the transmission had a leak that has repaired and the alternator light went on and was replaced. The car has air conditioning and it worked when last used but the switch has malfunction -- the switch is basically coming apart -- so it is not working. The top and windows work (the passanger window sometimes needs help), sometimes the automatic antenna does too. The car has always been garaged next to the bride's auto, and shows the wear and tear of dings that occur in that enviornment. See the photos for scratches and paint chips. To my knowledge the only rust i have found is under the left rear seat, the front bumper has some minor rust on the lower edges, and today I did notice 4 small bubbles on the left front bumper, no outward sign of rust beyond that. There were only 1800 of these manufactured and it a lot of fun to drive, the mufflers have been changed to flo-thoughs so it is a little loud.
