Vehicle Detail

Here is my 1990 VW Corrado. I bought this car 7 years ago with 140,000 miles. I have used it as my daily driver since then and is just under 220,000 miles now. I am buying a new car and do not have time to take care of this car anymore. When I bought it, I spent a lot of time and money getting it into perfect condition. It was a great car and I really loved driving it. It needs some work as-is now. It starts and runs, and I used it as my daily driver up until last month when the inspection ran out. There are a few things that need fixed. Needs a new tie rod, or CV boot. Little bit of shaking going on. I believe it is the tie rod. The car has some typical Corrado issues -Sunroof needs fixed -Windows need work - 1 is off-track and the other needs a new motor -Hood latch cable needs replaced -needs new grille -door handles are broken -parking brake needs a new cable -new tires would be a good idea for the front and needs allignment -needs a new window wiper handle -has a small exhaust leak -heater core should be replaced -air condition needs recharged -Really it just needs someone with a bit of time to fix her up and get her in great condition again. The good stuff -Car starts and runs well. Engine is extremely strong. -Supercharger was rebuilt about 30,000 miles ago. Original charger lasted over 180,000 miles!! -This car has been very reliable and has always started right up even after sitting for numerous months while I went on vacation. -has a stage 4 kit in it -car is fast This really is a good car. It drives as is, but I would not take it too far until the tie rod is fixed. Car is being sold as-is. I will not deliver it. You will be responsible for picking it up in Wexford, PA of arranging a way to ship it to you. Car has a r-title and was repaired in 2003 after a wreck before I owned it. This car was a friend of mines and I bought it off of him. The car has been inspected every year since 2003. Inspection just ran out in November. This will be a great project for someone who has the time to put into it. I had my fun in it, time for someone else to enjoy it. NO LEAKS!!! Engine is strong. There are no leaks whatsoever. So for someone who wants a Corrado and has the time and ability to work on this, you will end up with a great car with a little bit of work. Replace the sunroof, window motors, and door handles and the tie rod/cv and you will be ready to drive again. Thanks for looking and have a great day. Car also has a new magnaflow muffler and will also come with an original aftermarket muffler that is brand new as well. Great project for someone. Won't take too much money to get it working, just someone with a little bit of time. If I were to keep it, I would replace the steering rack, tie rod, cv boots, etc, get new wheels, an allignment and fix the windows and sunroof and heater core and you will be good to go. Really has been a great car and I hate to see it go, but I don't have a garage to work on it like I used to. And my dad who owned Auto Parts Exchange for 35+ years retired a few years ago, so I am kinda ready to move on.
