Original, matching numbers, unmolested car with: 283 cid engine, two speed automatic, 2 barrel carburetor, column shift, bench seat, power steering, power top. The exhaust looks new. The mileage is believed to be correct and accurate at 93,331, however there is no way to prove this. The only thing on the car that doesn't appear to be correct is the SS hubcaps, as seen in the pictures. The body is completely straight, with no known collisions and has no obvious rust repair. The car was repainted at some point and is in outstanding condition with just a bit of chipping. The car has been in dry storage in the eastern plains of Colorado for many years. The interior looks new and is not brittle or faded, so it is likely it's been replaced. The top looks very good and everything worked when the car was put into storage. The rear plastic window has a bit of scuffing. The negatives: - The engine ran strong, however smokes and has been diagnosed with rings that are stuck, vs. having a valve issue. It is possible that it'll clear up with some use and various treatments. - The car has been sitting many years, so the gas is old and should be flushed, along with cleaning the carburetor. It currently runs rough due to this. - The car leaks and needs transmission seals, differential seals, etc. - There is a bit of bubbling under the paint in the rear wheel wells, so a bit of rust is beginning. - The windshield is cracked. - The brake pedal goes to the floor, however the brakes will be repaired before leaving so that the car will be operable for transport. This car is in excellent shape and can be put back on the road if desired, or detailed for show. Assistance to load the car for transport from it's current location is available. Bank-to-bank wire transfer or cash is preferred for payment, and must be received within 48 hours of auction close. Other forms of payment may be possible, however options need to be discussed prior to the end of the auction. This car will not be released to the new owner until all funds clear and any wait times imposed have passed.
