Vehicle Detail

1973 Camaro Type LT with 73k original miles. Equipped with a rebuilt 350 and 350 trans. The rear has 3:73 gear ratio. Also equipped with power steering, power disk brakes, tilt wheel, and cold A/C. Mostly original with the exception of Edlebrock aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb, headers, American Racing wheels, split bumpers and an after market radio. It runs and drives fantastic and gets tons of compliments however this is not a perfect car. It is a very nice driver and everything works as it should except the amp gauge. The clock even works but is not very accurate. The radio works but has very bad reception, possibly from the windshield antenna! The fasten seat belt light still functions! At some point the car under went some restoration in which it appears the passenger side quarter was replaced and a lower patch on the drivers side rear quarter. Looks fine walking around the car but there has been some sloppy body work and is not correct. Most noticed is the passenger side door jam, as seen in the video a rivet was left and poorly finished. Also the under side of the rear quarters edge has rivets showing and also finished poorly. The other negative is the door hinge area on both doors could use some detail work, dirty, flaking paint etc. On a positive note the original floors and trunk look great with no rust. The trunk does have some minor surface rust under the mat and could use a little cleaning, NO holes. The engine is stock other than whats mentioned above, it runs perfect and sounds great! The trans shifts very crisp. It drives excellent, very smooth and stops straight. It has coil over shocks on the rear and sits a little high for my taste. The shocks have what looks to be about three inch extenders on the bottom mounts. The tires and wheels still look new. All chrome and trim looks great. The drip rails are the cheaper plastic replacements and would look better with the original type. The vinyl top is in excellent condition. There are a couple small bubble at the trim edge on drivers side as seen in the video, very small and hard to see but there! All the glass is good but the windshield has a little haze when heading into the sun and a small scuff mark as seen in the video. The interior is gorgeous and comfortable but has a couple small flaws on the console. The only thing that appears to have been replaced on the interior is the seat covers and dash, everything else looks to be original including the carpet which still looks good with a little fading.Clear Va. title in my name. Trim tag verifies original LT , antique white, black vinyl top. A very clean driver with some flaws, it's a car you can hop in and take on a long trip in with confidence! Check out the pictures and video, feel free to ask questions. Car is sold as is with no warranties. Non refundable deposit of $200.00 due within 24 hours of auction end. Thanks for looking.
