1971 Volkswagen Squareback (Type 3)Are you looking for a cool little wagon? This VW might be just the car. Candyapple Red with a White roof and trimmed with Black interior, this is a sporty little car that gets a lot of looks.Purchased to restore and then used as a safe, reliable car for my kids. It has been used daily by my college age son for school and work! (The family is VERY sorry to see this one go, but we need room for more projects). HISTORY: I purchased this car in 2010. It had been parked for several years in the garage of my VW mechanic. It was an inside/out restoration. Body work, interior, and some mechanics. The goal was to restore it for my kids, but we need to sell it to make way for more projects. I have complete records of all repair and maintenance completed. FEATURES:This car seats 5, plus a hatchback with rear storage.Mechanical work, tires, brakes, fuel lines, starter, electrical all completed in 2011.New interior upholstery. Completed Fall 2011New bodywork/paint. Completed Winter 2011 NOTE:VW Rust? There is very minimal rust underneath the car. Really good shape. OVERALL: I've owned several Volkswagens (Buses, Bugs, Thing). This is my first Squareback and a great car. It runs very smooth, very comfortable (more room than a bug - plus storage).
