You are bidding on a genuine Barn Find - Actually just removed from the Carriage House of a local estate. Sitting since 1989 (PA inspection expired 1989) this 1971 Buick Electra 2 door Hardtop has 30220 original miles and is equipped with the usual Electra options. This Electra is free of rust holes or rot. The Electra starts and runs, however, the fuel is toast and the gas tank will need to be cleaned and flushed as well as Carburetor and other lines. So the car will need a lot of little stuff to be road ready as you would imagine a car sitting for 22 years would need. The engine is a 455 with 4 barrel and Automatic transmission,. The tires are front bias ply tires and snow tires on the rear. The vinyl top is not torn or ripped but will need a good cleaning. The interior is beautiful (no rips or tears) as these big cruisers were great cars to ride and drive. The under carriage is scaly but no rust through areas.
