72 superbeetle for auction. This car has a new engine with 5000 miles. It was rebuilt by a professional VW mechanic. Everything was replaced except the case. Has a new clutch and brakes. I drove it all summer until the old carb started acting up so I garaged it until next year. Car has a clean body and a clean chassis. It will need a new carb, the old one is shot. It will also need the wipers fixed and the blinkers fixed. Needs drivers seat recovered. The pass. seat has a small tear on the top part of the seat. the back seat is fine. Needs drivers side mirror.I have the original window sticker and owners manual with service coupons. This would make a perfect restoration project or put a new carb on it and drive it every day. Ive kept it out of bad weather to protect the chassis and body. It will need replaced or a real good repair man.I tried to edit this in at the very beginning but it didnt show on the listing.
