Up for auction is my 1997 Bmw 318I Convertible. Red with Tan Leather Interior. I will try to provide as much info as I can however please feel free to message me with questions. Also you can view a video of the car starting and reving here http://youtu.be/f7k-KTN8640 General Info: Bought the car from a dealer in 3/11 with about 133500 miles at that time was MD inspected. Was backed in a parking lot in 5/11. Cosemetic damage only, replaced grille surround (needs painting) also replaced hood but hood needs to be set in correctly or replaced. Sellling because I'm recently engaged and don't have the $ to fix everything. The Good: Mechanicly this car is as good as it gets for this age. Engine is real stong car starts and drives. Shifts smooth. AC blasts Cold air, Heat as well works. Handles great fun to drive. Near 30 mpg on hghway. All windows work door locks etc. The Bad: Cosmetically needs attention. The driver side seat needs to be replaced or covered, it also leans to the left. Passenger seat leather is worn but not torn, back seats (not pictured) in same condition as front passenger seat. The radio works but the lights won't display on it, might be a fuse was like this when I got it. The hood either needs to be repaired and painted or get a new one and painted. The grill surround needs to be painted. BTW I have the center BWM emblem. Needs brake pads. Top is new however there was a crease in the back of the window as you can see in the pictures, was like this when I got it so it passed inspection. There is a small oil leak from a seal upfront. Estimate was aobut $300 from a mom and pop BMW specality dealer, or just check and add synthentic as you go. The New: Since I've had it I've replaced 2 tires. The wheel lock assemply ingition part. Gear shift linkage. I will add if I think of more. Car is located in suburbs of DC more then welcome to come look before bidding.
