THINKING OF RETURNING TO THE UK..............Happy Holidays and treat yourself to a present............... This car has 1700 miles on it and was driven yesterday, It is a Sollihull built Fuel injected Federal 1981 TR7.......I have not owned this long, but must start selling, I do have some original paperwork and keys from dealer........Car was purchased by original owner in June 28th 1982 at a interest rate of 18% can anyone remember those days, It was one of the last TR7 to be sold in U.S, I f not the last,Car was driven for about 700 miles when the head gasket blew, by then Triumph had left the country, Car was put in storage, Original owner then passed away, leaving car in storage,In 2010 a Gentleman some of you might know in Michigan purchased it from the wife, He put over $6000 into the car plus all of his time and knowledge. Some of the work was required for long term storage, Some because of Head gasket blow, plus some though choice to increase HP, exhaust etc.He did a lot of work on it, which I will try to list it all correctly, I wish I could keep it but can not,He Removed engine installed european pistons, head gasket, new clutch assembly,New injector seals and rubber plenum boots, New Motor and transmission mounts, New sports exhaust system, New hoses , Belts etc,Installed new TR8 front brakes, hoses, pads and wheel cylinders.New steering bushes, new shifter bushes, new trunk shocks, New front strut bushes for front suspension.Five New Original Alloy wheels, lug nuts and center caps, and New Cooper tires including spare,Has original paint and no rust...Just slight dings and dents from storage but nothing major, Last two pictures show you the dings and top edge of drivers side door needs a little paint , no rust just needs paint. Car has new carpets installed including rear shelf, New Luggage rack on trunk, brand new still in box in trunk when I got the car,Has had recent Oil. filters and fluid changes, including gearbox oil, New fan belts ,New plugs and wires,Has new battery, New Blue soft-top has been installed and comes with blue cover for the soft -top when down, I am sure I have not mention everything but have tried,I do have some service records. and will include a set of front rubber triumph floor mats and a TR7 TR8 Bill Piggot book with sale.Car needs to be used,I do not have time to use it,The only thing I know it needs , which I do not have is a new seat back cover, which I have removed from the passenger seat, original has a couple of rips in it,But I have not repaired or replaced yet, New track rod ends and gaiters need to be done at some point, these come with the car, new dip stick tube this also comes with the car and the rear brake hose for the rear wheels which also comes with the car,Original A/C compressor and brackets go with the car, but were removed to give the car more HP, Car now has about 120 BHP approx, instead of the usual 90 BHP.Car drives like it should but now with a bit more power from the small modifications without losing the originality,Clear NC title in my name.Buyer to arrange and pay for all shipping costs,Thanks,A couple of buyers contacted me after the auction to purchase the car, but the fair thing to do is to sell it through E-bay with a Buy It Now price, Where there is a deposit required though Pay-Pal and that the chance the deal going though is stronger, On Dec-12-11 at 09:47:56 PST, seller added the following information: *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************NO RESERVE, NEXT BID COULD WIN THIS CAR*****************************************************************************************************************GOOD LUCK****************************************************************************
