1968 Triumph Bonneville

Hi There, What you are looking at is a MATCHING numbers ,1968 Triumph 650 TR6R with a Bonneville head. Although this bike has some parts that are not correct for the 68 model,this is a very nice looking and good running bike. Starts right up and runs on down the road just fine !! The paint on the tank is really nice. Tires are in good shape.Both headlight and brake light work fine. It has a little rear fender damage as seen in the pictures. Someone rigged it for blinkers ,back in the day. I have not gone thru this bike, so all I know is that it looks good and runs good,@shifts fine. There is some minor oil leaks from primary cover. I'm sure it could use some gaskets. Upon start up it smokes a little but then when warmed up it stops. Also there is a small hole above the front sprocket where the chain must have come off at some point. I have seen this on a lot of Triumphs and doesn't effect anything, I just wanted to mention it because its there. Before I put it on my "To Do" list and go thru the whole bike, I thought I would list it at a really good price and let someone else get there hands on a classic Triumph and enjoy fixing it up themselves. I already have too many things on my list . This bike is priced to sell !! Feel free to ask any questions.Actual milage is unknown. Thanks for looking.
