Vehicle Detail

This cute little VW Fastback needs a new home. We recently purchased it and have enjoyed every minute of it. Unfortunately, it did have an accident, and has smooshed the front end. The insurance company decided to call it a total loss due to the damage and the age of the car. It is really unfortunate since it is still running just fine!! I would love to fix it back up and drive it but it is just more than I can handle. I am sure there is the right person out there who would love to restore this little beauty back to its original condition. It has had a lot of work done to it already, ALL BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, SO I DO NOT HAVE DETAILS OF THIS WORK: The interior is in pretty good condition. The inside of the doors, the trim and full carpets have been replaced. All the glass is original and intact. The seats are all original but in good shape. The engine has all been rebuilt and runs quite well. 3 tires are in good shape, one got a flat so the full size spare is on the car. The whole car was recently painted yellow and other than the recent accident,it looked great. Please note the mileage has to have a numerical value for eBay but it has rolled and I really do not know actual miles. The accident dented both front quarter panels, the hood and the splashguard. Both head lights were also broken. The driver side quarter panel is also pushed back and the drover's side door will not open all the way. Again, the car was running great and was really driving with no problems. Since it has been sitting the battery has not really been holding its full charge. Not sure why but again, didn't want to look into since we are letting it go. It will not be difficult to register this vehicle again as a "revived salvage vehicle." Basically you just need to make sure the brakes and lights are working and get a brake and light inspection. This inspection can run around $100-$150.
