Here is a drop dead gorgeous, 1952 Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe that recently received a frame off, highly detailed, street rod restoration on a rare and magnificent Jaguar. It is truly one of the prettiest Jags ever built. There are only 1,200 miles on it since the build was finished. It has the classic looks with the driver friendliness of having a Chevrolet 350ci engine, automatic transmission and air conditioning. It was built by a nationally recognized restorer who built cars for the likes of Jay Leno. It is very nicely designed and detailed in keeping with a one off factory experimental look. It's the only one of its kind and would be an asset to someone wanting a one off automobile. This car was an award winner its first time out. The car runs, drives and handles amazing and is very fast! It recently just came out of a large private classic car collection and was one of his favorite cars in the collection due to its ease to drive, reliability and modern comforts! It has a drop dead gorgeous Silverwing Gray paint job that looks absolutely amazing that was finished in base coat, clear coat. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is straight as an arrow, solid as a rock and totally rust free with all original sheet metal. There was lots of attention to detail in keeping the elegant looks with some custom massaging to enhance the lines. Such as removing the parking lights on the top of the front fenders, frenching the seams in the rear fenders, laying down the rear bumpers and installing a matching pair in the front to balance out the flow from front to rear. It also has all new chrome and glass. Absolutely everything on this car is brand new or restored as you can see from the pictures. This Jaguar literally stops traffic with the amount of attention it receives! The amazing interior was hand crafted by a well known artist in charcoal leather, piped in light gray with a hand built bench seat and arm rests. The dash and gauge cluster has all been restored to look like new with all new Stewart Warner gauges and engine turned aluminum. Everything works great in the car including all the gauges and lights. The magnificently crafted wood dash was signed by the builder of the car. In the trunk it has all been refinished also. Mechanically, this Jaguar is in perfect condition and is basically all brand new. It runs excellent and is very reliable with its new crate 350ci 350hp engine. The engine is all chromed and polished out and is topped off with a one off hand built air cleaner. Under the hood is detailed to show quality and looks amazing. The car has a mint stock frame and front torsion bar suspension fitted with urethane bushings, gas shocks and a dual brake system. This is one very fun car to go cruising in. It is fast and very fun to drive!!!!!! This is guaranteed to be one of the best looking, running and driving XK120's on the road.
