I bought this car completely restored two years ago. Both engine and transmission are in good condition.It is rust free the undercarriage is painted black.the interior is in near perfect condition. Exterior chrome and paint are in great shape. The engine is the 390 cc,Thunderbird edition with lots of chrome on it,( air breather,.hoses.water pump, radiator reservoir,oil cap, generator, fan blade, hood latch are all chrome and shine brightly. "It runs great, have had it on the interstate highway to a speed in excess of 100mph with the foot pedal ony half way to the floor .it would most likely hit speeds of 120mph easily if one was brave enough . The transmission is doesn't slip and shifts solidly through the three speed automatic.The power top works and is in new condition . It has custom made baby moon hubcaps with " Ford" on them. It also has custom embroidered front floor mats with the word Galaxie and fender mechanics guard with the word galaxie on it.This car is ready to go cruising and show off in or just take you wher you need to go in style I am not afraid to take it on an extended tripI its beutiful to look at and gets many compliments and could fuction as one's main source of transportation .
