1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL W107 Roadster Up for the auction is very nicely kept ONE owner 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL. Its desirable and rare Diamond Blue Paint shines beautifully and Powerful V8 engine purrs and runs strong as ever. In the 560SL, Mercedes got it all just right, offering essentially bullet-proof reliability, satisfying power, and aggressive good looks. The 560SL combined all that Mercedes learned about the V-8 W107 chassis cars into a cultural icon that quietly and confidently told the world its occupants had "arrived." The W107 chassis was one of the longest running production bodies in the Diamler-Benz AG's line, and W107s are extremely well built and collectable. It is also the first V8 powered two-seater to be built at the Stuttgart, Germany factory. Exterior: Diamond Blue (color code #355 diamintblau) paint has a beautiful shine and luster, and it looks like the day it left the showroom floor!! Chrome is in excellent condition, it is complete and new looking, and this beautiful roadster is a head turner and conversation piece everywhere it goes. This Mercedes is very solid and rust free (please see pictures!!!). Body is in wonderful condition and it is straight as an arrow! All doors, hood, and trunk are operating with ease, and everything lines up properly. It was never in an accident, and It has been always garaged, pampered and kept away from rain and bad weather, and it truly shows!! Factory VIN # stamping on the front radiator support shows originality of this car. There is not a lot of 560SL’s out there in this solid and amazingly kept and preserved condition!! It is equipped with both soft top, and the hard top! Dark Blue Soft top is in excellent condition, and it is very easy to operate. Original Hard top is also in excellent condition, including all the glass, and the headliner which is clean, and rips and tears free!! Another sign of originality of this beautiful car is stamping mark on the Hard Top (45739) which reflects the last 5 digits of the vehicles VIN number!!! All 4 tires are matching and they are like brand new with plenty of life left in them! -Interior Original Navy Blue interior is in excellent condition! Carpet is clean, in great shape, and its rips and tears free. Leather seats are in excellent condition, and very supportive and comfortable. This Mercedes comes with power windows, and they are working as they should! Everything on this car is working, from power windows, original Becker Grand Prix Radio to the power antenna, Just take a look at the pictures, and you will get an idea about the condition of this car, how nicely it is kept, and how beautiful it is. -Engine & Transmission Powerful 5.6 Liter V8 Engine starts with ease, and it is strong and powerful as ever with only 137,700 miles on the odometer (only about 5,500 miles per year!!).
