1987 BMW R 80 RT LISTED WAY BELOW KELLY BLUE BOOK The motorcycle runs great, stops great, and looks great. It has just under 72000 actual miles and has been well cared for. It needs a back tire fairly soon. One picture shows a dent and scratch on the top front of the tank where previous older owner was trying to install bar backs by himself and did the damage. It looks worse in the picture than what it is. The bar backs are no longer on the bike. The small bag on the bars cover the scratch. It has an Omega 450 alternator kit. You will not purchase this bike and then come look at it to decide if you want it. If you buy and then decide you do not want it you will not get your deposit back. You are welcome to come see the bike before you purchase it. Do not waste my time, these listings cost money. This classic needs to go to a knowledgeable BMW person who will appreciate it and continue to take good care of it. I will not crate the bike. I will be there for a motorcycle transporter to load it on his truck. The bike has been tuned, valves adjusted and oil changed. You can pay the balance after the deposit by cash or PayPal but it must be within 48 hours. It is a great motorcycle, but for people who need to be told it is sold "AS IS" from a private owner.
