Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hello, and thank you for looking at this auction. 1998 Suzuki VZ800 Marauder. 800cc V-twin cruiser, 5 speed, chain driven.This is a stretch frame cruiser, it looks larger then it is. Suitable for a first time bike or a daily regular rider, looks really good and fits a wide range of riders. I am 6'2" and ride comfortably as has a friend who is 5'8". This motorcycle has been maintained and ridden regularly in good weather. I am the third owner and have owned it for two thousand plus trouble free miles. Financial concerns, storage space and a little Christmas money for gifts force the sale of this motorcycle. Given a choice, it would not be for sale. I have owned it for five years, changed the synthetic oil every spring. Additionally, I run the motor periodically in the winter to cycle the oil and gas. Front brake pads are new this season. Aftermarket pipes and mirrors. Tires in very good condition. Turnkey and ride. The bike was laid down softly by the first owner (a first time rider). The odometer was changed at approx 8000 miles. This is reflected in the title, and note odometer reading is 2565, plus 8000= 10,565 true miles. This was related to me by the second owner, whom I bought it from, and who rode it for some years. The frame is true and clean. The tank has a few dents in it, and a scuff, and the pipes have some scuffs. Additionally, one fork tube could stand to be trued. This does not affect the ride ability at all. Tank can be easily repaired, and the auction comes with a set of chrome tank badges. I have listed a number of pictures to get an idea of how the bike is. The paint has some wear, but shines with polish. There is minor rust on a few bolts, but chrome cleans right up. The motorcycle is being sold/auctioned in as is condition. Additionally, it is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction should it sell locally. With this said, it is available to view/inspect in person. A clear title is in hand. Questions are very welcome and quickly answered. In addition to the pictures present, I have additional ones and can take specific pictures by request. A deposit of $200 is required within 24 hours of successful winning bid.
