I am easier to reach via phone than email- 305-302-4617. 2000 Mercedes SL500 Roadster- VERY HARD TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED CONDITION. It still looks new. This is awesome Senior driven SL500 with the Xenon headlights and heated seats, that is 100% unmodified original. It comes from our non-smoking home with 39800 softly driven miles. It has been well cared for, kept in a controlled garage, and is in exceptional condition. This baby has ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT / COVERED, and never in harsh conditions. It is truly ready for daily, weekend, or Country Club use. The Desert Beige / Gold metallic paint shines like it was still 2000. There is no body damage, no rust on the body, nor is the front end "beat up." All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in perfect condition. The Yokohama tires are fine with atleast 60-75% tread life, and the car drives straight down the road. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. The exterior is a solid 9.5 / 10. On the inside, the Tan interior still looks, feels, and maintains that newer appeal. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered, the floor mats are still original ( drivers mat turned over ), the door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original and in great shape. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, and even the clock keeps perfect time without issue. The factory Bose stereo system with orig speakers & power antenna are still is in excellent working order. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare- never on the ground, inflator, jack, bolts are still in place. The undercarriage is dry and rust free too. The interior is a 9.9 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. All of the servicing is up to date - a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed / maintained at the proper intervals, The engine compartment / undercarriage are extra clean / dry, and it performs without hesitation. Of course, the engine has great pick-up, and turns and breaks on a dime. The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions perform without issue. If you are looking for an unmolested, hard to find 500SL here you go. These cars are few and far between and will surely appreciate in the years to come. I think it is priced very fairly compared to the others listed on ebay and what else exists. Let's put it this way, there is no way anyone would be disappointed in this car.
