We are getting rid of our family bronco. This bronco started its life in Grass Creek Wyoming. The original Ownercard signed and dated goes with the bronco along with the original Owners Manual and Warranty Booklet. This bronco is now in Billings Montana and has been used little as a snow plow rig and then a daily driver. It has a strong running 302 with tons of power and has a cool rumble to it. Does not smoke or go thru the oil, it is solid. The transmission is a C4 Automatic. The transmission shifts smooth but solid. When it is really cold you do have to manually shift thru the gears until it warms up a couple minutes, Not a big deal and has done this for years. Transfer case shifts and works fine. The front hubs move freely. At some point in its life a dana 30 was placed under the front. The 4x4 does work good but does skip from time to time. I have been told by a mechanic the ring gear is missing a tooth. I did buy a Yukon replacement ring and pinion but have not put it in. This will go with the auction. This bronco does have the factory Power Steering as well. The tires are 80-85% tread, they are a nice Dick Cepek mud terrain 30x9.5x15 and are great in the snow. The wheels are chrome with some rust pits. It does have a James Duff 3” lift in it now, Springs up front and blocks in the rear. The factory Springs are included if you want to take it back to stock. The body is nice. It does have a couple shades of red, I believe this to be the age of the paint, they probably matched at one point but have faded differently. On the Passenger Rear there is a dent where the spare tire carrier hit the side. The rear tire carrier is off the rig but does go with the rig. I also have all of the exterior trim that goes with it as well, 95% of it is reusable. The interior is all original, the drivers seat does show wear the rest is in good shape. (there is a Meyers snowplow control that I will be removing from the bottom of the dash). There is also a 6 point rollcage for safety when the top is removed. There is some rust in the floor. (if there isn’t rust in the floor of a EB, then the floor has been replaced… I think they came factory with rust….). You can see this in pictures. This is a very solid unrestored Bronco and in good mechanical shape. It is a ton of fun with the step thru’s in the summer. The soft-top is the only way to go. I know several EB owners that claim to have a convertible but will never pull the heavy top of their bronco, too much hassle. The soft top comes off or rolls up in minutes transforming it to a summer vehicle. If you don’t like the soft doors and step thru’s the original doors go with the bronco as well. This bronco has potential, it is not a cut-up junker it is just a real clean unrestored vehicle. It has served us well and would like to see someone enjoy it.
