Up for auction is my 2000 BMW Z3 Convertible. Car runs and drives excellent. Tires are almost new. Fun car with plenty of power. Car was purchased here on Ebay in May of this year. I hope to disclose some issues that weren't disclosed when I purchased the car. First the good....Car was originally purchased in Maryland. When purchased by me, had the car inspected in Pennsylvania with no issues. Wanted a car for my wife and kids to drive this summer so had my mechanic check the car form front to back, not just pass inspection. Car checked out perfectly. No mechanical or safety issues. Tires are almost new, brakes are in great condition, no issues at all. Had him complete a full tune-up including 100,000 miles spark plugs, oil and filter. Radio plays fine, all controls work including cruise control and air blows cold. Can't say enough about how well this car runs. Would drive the car anywhere and have no issues with a complete inspection prior to bidding. Now the bad....Wish these issues were disclosed prior to my purchase in May. When I picked up the car, had to stop and get gas. When I did, the "Service Engine Soon" light came on. Had my mechanic check the code which stated the gas cap needed to be replaced. Once replaced, the light went off. However, it just came back on. Don't think it is anything serious as the car runs fine (I just want to disclose everything). Also notice the "Airbag" light is on. This came on after the hurricane swept through Pennsylvania. Not sure if a sensor got wet or if it something more. The air blows hot or cold, there is no in-between. When the air is on and the thermostat is set to cold, it blows cold. When you want heat, you get all the heat. Was told it is just a control valve. As you can see from the pictures, there are some dings. All on the front (hood) area of the car. Also, the clear coat is pealing on the hood and the trunk. The paint underneath seems to be fine. There is also a small crack in the windshield (small enough for the car to pass inspection in PA) and a crack in the "wood" above the clock. Other than these few minor issues, this is a great car that can be enjoyed for many years. If you have any questions, please ask.
